1. Insert your key into the ignition slot as normal and leave the key in the Off position.
2. Insert a straightened paper clip into the small slot just to the left of the key slot.
3. Push the clip in all the way and turn the key to the ACC position to unlock the key from its spot.
4. Pull on both the key and the clip to slide the cylinder out easily.
5. Remove the paper clip before removing the key.
